They Build Specialty Dump Buckets
Ebuckets, LLC of Fort Recovery, Ohio, specializes in custom buckets that increase the speed at which track machines load dump trucks.
“We originally designed and made Ebuckets for our excavation business,” says Aaron Sutter, company cofounder. “We’d grown tired of mud getting stuck in our buckets and tearing apart our equipment.”
The company uses a patented scissor-ejection method to remove material from the bucket. This allows smaller equipment to reach higher loading points, such as semi-trailers or dump trucks.
“We’ve since adjusted the buckets to ensure they can work with a wide variety of materials and several sizes to work with any machine,” Sutter says. “Our buckets use the hydraulics on a skid loader to eject the material using scissor technology to ensure a clean bucket, every time. Ebuckets also only require the cutting edge to be over the spreader, trailer, etc., to eject the material; this allows you to reach higher clearances without additional equipment. The buckets are faster and easier on equipment and gradually lose their load vs. dropping all the weight at once.”
Customers rely on Ebuckets to increase efficiency when loading silage and manure and when spreading bedding.
“Our buckets work for a wide variety of jobs, saving consumers valuable time and money,” Sutter says. “They’ll work for anything from hauling manure, bedding animals, excavation work, landscaping, mixing feed and more. Our buckets are heavy and built to last. We still use some of the first we made around 15 years ago.”
The buckets range from 5 ft. to 8 ft., with customizable sides in 18 in., 24 in., or 30 in., and with or without teeth.
“Our starting price point is $6,000 and varies based on size,” Sutter says. “We do ship.”
He notes that the most popular buckets are the 7 ft. or 8 ft. models with 30 in. sides.
“Depending on the size of the machine, people typically go as big as they can to get the job done.”
